Kids Teaching Kids Week

On Monday 29th August 2011, senior students of the newly formed Green Youth Group will present at the Australia Post sponsored Kids Teaching Kids Week presentation, to students in some of the ACT's high schools.

The purpose of the workshop is to share ideas on how young people can collaborate to make our schools a more sustainable place, and our communities environmentally aware.

The Marist GYG presentation team is mentored by Ms Pamenter, Mr Jones and volunteers from the Australian Youth Climate Coalition's Switched on School's Programme.

They will be presenting a workshop on how Marist has been planning to build a community garden, and how other schools can also begin working on a similar project.
