Marist Golf Championships
A small field of eight boys from Years 7 to 10 contested the Marist Golf Championships on a warm afternoon at Federal Golf Club. All the boys are members of various district golf clubs, including Federal, Murrumbidgee, Royal Canberra and Queanbeyan. In the senior division, Tom White (10Cr) shot an impressive 81 to cement his 1st Marist crown. The junior (Yr 7-9) trophy was closely contested and won by up and coming golfer James Correll (7Mc). Jordan Smith (9Ma) outperformed his handicap to take the net prize. All boys deserve congratulations for their fine sportsmanship and etiquette.
