In 2023, the College has undertaken to support two AMS projects: Chetana Tribal Boys Hostel, Talit, West Bengal and St Joseph’s School, Mabiri, Bougainville. The appeal will run in Term 3.

Australian Marist Solidarity (AMS) is the international agency for the aid and development work of the Marist Province of Australia. AMS works with people in the Asia Pacific region on a combination of long-term and short-term development projects. These projects aim to develop or support locally sustained education opportunities for the young people in these regions.

Through College assemblies and classes our students will be learning more about these two communities. The Donations made from our College community will contribute substantially to enabling AMS to complete these projects.

Through College assemblies and classes our students will be learning more about these two communities. The donations made will contribute substantially to enabling AMS to complete these projects and support these communities. A suggestion is made of $40 per family. (Note: Junior School families have already contributed to AMS through the Lenten Appeal. Any further donation will, of course, be of great benefit to these communities.)
