Co-Curricular Life

Co-curricular life is central to a Marist education. Through sport, music, drama, debating, service and the creative arts, boys are encouraged to explore their interests, challenge themselves and grow as young men.

These activities build confidence, character and connection, helping boys discover their strengths, form lasting friendships and learn the value of both leadership and humility.

Whether on stage, on the field or behind the scenes, co-curricular life teaches boys to work hard, support others and contribute with purpose. It complements learning in the classroom and supports the formation of young men who are resilient, grateful and community-minded.

"We see co-curricular life as a place where young men discover resilience, humility and the quiet strength that comes from belonging."

Since 1968, Marist College has been a part of and had its footprints on the land of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples. As a College, we acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we stand. We acknowledge the continued deep spiritual attachment and relationship they have to this land and commit ourselves to the challenge of Closing the Gap and the ongoing journey of Reconciliation. We are, as Marists, an inclusive and welcoming community. We acknowledge that all are created in the image of our loving God and called to live our lives glorifying the Lord. People of all faiths, gender, sexualities, and cultures are therefore welcome and respected equally in the Marist Catholic community.
