Congratulations to Old Boy Jack Jones (2010), the recipient of the Br Francois Service Medal for 2021.
The Medal is named after one of the earliest Marist Brothers, Br Francois (Gabriel Rivat), who demonstrated his love and care for others especially through his service to the Brothers and to the sick.
The person receiving this Medal is a former student of the College who has a demonstrated track record of service to others and has made an exceptional contribution to meeting the needs of the vulnerable.
Since finishing at Marist, Jack has been involved in coaching, mentoring Indigenous youth as well as founding The Banksia Project which focuses on men’s mental health.
