La Cena de Los Hermanos (Brothers Dinner) was celebrated at Marist College Canberra on Thursday 1 June to kick off our Champagnat Day celebrations. 

Br John Curry, Br Bill Sullivan and long-standing staff member Tony Sullivan competed for ‘The Brothers Dinner’ shield! It was great to have Marist Brothers join over 20 hospitality students to prepare a delectable Spanish dinner along with Chef Gonzalo courtesy of Edgar’s Inn! 

Vision behind the event is for Marist students to spend time working alongside the brothers for an afternoon in a relaxed and fun environment. Huge thanks to Br John and Br Bill for joining us from interstate, Frank and Willow Condi for sponsoring the event and the Marist Hospitality students for cooking all afternoon. Congratulations to Br Bill for taking out the competition for preparing four stunning tapas!
