On Thursday 18 May almost 100 boys participated in the Matt Giteau Cup inter schools' rugby competition. Marist entered two teams in the Year 3 and 4 division and five teams in the 5 and 6 division. The day was an enormous success with all the boys loving a full day of rugby with their friends. One of the Year 4 teams made it to the final, which means they have progressed through to the regional Matt Giteau finals.

For me, the highlight was seeing so many Marist boys enjoying playing rugby with their friends and the huge support we received from the parents who came along to watch. A special thank you to Mrs Clare Kelly for the wonderful job she did in organising boys and managing the odd bump or bruise. I must also thank all the parents who volunteered to coach/manage a team on the day - the event could not have happened without you.
