Connecting you with your son's Marist experience

A Modern Family

Modern Family, the TV sitcom, involves three modern-day families trying to deal with their kids, quirky spouses and jobs in their own unique ways, often falling into hilarious situations. Sound familiar?

But beneath the laughs, there is an obvious warmth and tenderness between the family members. At the risk of stretching the analogy, our Marist Family is also known for its openness, tolerance, love and acceptance.

Your family is an important part of our family and you are always welcome to join us at our table. No-one is excluded. Family Spirit is the Marist way of relating, not only to each other but also to our world – humanity and all of creation.

“Like our early communities, we are inspired by the home of Nazareth to develop those attitudes that make family spirit a reality: love and forgiveness, support and help, openness to others, and joy. This style of relating has become a characteristic of our way of being Marist.”

So, what does this mean for you and your son?

It means, that our style of relating as a family has become characteristic of our way of being Marist. We will share with you your child’s successes and work with you to support him in every endeavour.
