Chief Minister’s Reading Challenge

Chief Minister’s Reading Challenge

Congratulations

Congratulations to all of the boys who have completed their Chief Minister’s Reading Challenge during the holidays and Week 1.

Mrs Simpson, Mrs Borgia and Mrs Collins were overwhelmed with your enthusiasm for reading. We were especially impressed with the number of students who completed the ‘Challenge yourself to read something different’ Challenge. Well done!

A special mention goes to Luke Bamford (Year 4), Orlando Pabian (Year 5) and Robert Stephenson (Year 6) who have now completed their second challenge. All three boys finished the regular challenge in Term 1 and decided to give the ‘Challenge yourself to read something different’ a go. What a trio of reading champions!

Please note that all Reading Challenge forms are due in by Friday 19 August.

Since 1968, Marist Canberra has been a part of and had its footprints on the land of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples. As a College, we acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which we stand. We pay our respects to them and for their care of the land. May we walk gently and respectfully upon the land. We are, as Marists, an inclusive and welcoming community. We acknowledge that all are created in the image of our loving God and called to live our lives glorifying the Lord. People of all faiths, genders, sexualities, and cultures are therefore welcome and respected equally in the Marist Catholic community.
