Junior School Athletics Carnival - BBQ

The Junior School is hosting our annual Athletics Carnival on Friday 7 March, the boys have an opportunity to purchase a special BBQ lunch and support projects for the upcoming Cambodia Immersion.

The Senior School boys and staff (Mrs Kirsty Bell and Ms Carmelina Paragalli) who are attending the Cambodia Immersion this year will be hosting the BBQ. Funds raised from the BBQ will go towards supporting the Marist communities that we visit during our immersion in July. The funds raised will not be put towards covering travel costs of the Immersion group, these costs are met by the participating boys. Mrs Bell is excitedly preparing to lead the Cambodia Immersion group this year.

You can place an order here. Sales will not be taken on the day, boys who want to partake in the BBQ offer must submit their payments by close of business Friday 28 February, so that food orders may be placed.

Since 1968, Marist Canberra has been a part of and had its footprints on the land of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples. As a College, we acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which we stand. We pay our respects to them and for their care of the land. May we walk gently and respectfully upon the land. We are, as Marists, an inclusive and welcoming community. We acknowledge that all are created in the image of our loving God and called to live our lives glorifying the Lord. People of all faiths, genders, sexualities, and cultures are therefore welcome and respected equally in the Marist Catholic community.
