Game Changers
Year 8
Year 8 Game Changers was launched at the College this week with Michael Seselja and Mr Hawes coordinating this program. Game Changers is a new Marist Youth Ministry program from Marist Schools Australia that is divided into three “tracks” for different year groups. The program focuses on building up students in their faith, community and in service to others.
Around 15 Year 8 students attended the first meeting where the group started off with a video about teamwork and how it helps us along the road of life. The students then made rocky road chocolate to fit in with this delicious theme and to remind us of the journey we are on. Meetings will be held fortnightly throughout the year.

Junior
In our first Junior Game Changers meeting, we began with a couple of high energy icebreaker games. As it was Ash Wednesday, we then had a brief discussion about Lent and what it means for us. We finished by creating a banner in which we wrote our names on arrows and stuck them around the word 'Game Changers' to represent the journey we are beginning as a Game Changers group.
