Junior School Sporting Congratulations

Well done to Zachary Thomas (Year 6) who competed at the ACT Little Athletics Championships last weekend and placed:

U11 boys high jump 1st (1.31m)
U11 boys discus 3rd (20.18m)
U11 boys long jump 4th (3.78m)

In February, Zach also won the ACT Track Cycling Championships at the Narrabundah velodrome with a win in each individual event on the program (Scratch race, flying 200, Keirin and 500m time trial) and took out the overall championship for U13 boys. Congratulations Zach.

Any boys wishing to trial for a representative level in a given sport must register their intention to trial or be considered by visiting the School Sport ACT website.  The sporting calendar with trial dates is located on the SSACT home page. U12 Boys Touch Football and U12 Tennis trials are currently advertised on the site or you can follow their Facebook page to avoid missing any important dates.
