MCC Basketball and NAIDOC Tournament

Over the break, some of our Marist students participated in the ACT's annual NAIDOC tournament. 

Marist players enjoyed the tournament atmosphere again this year. The players were challenged by some strong interstate competition, and they all demonstrated superb sportsmanship on the court. 

Additionally, a number of players volunteered to help with the Spalding Waratah League and the National Basketball League (NBL) 1 East League by supporting the Gunners Academy, the Canberra Gunners and the Canberra National's during the Indigenous Round.

MCC Basketball Club would like to thank the players, coaches, managers and parents for embracing the spirit of reconciliation and for representing Marist in a positive way during both the NAIDOC tournament and the NBL1 East League.

Marist Basketball is very proud to again support and participate in this tournament.
