Rowing Australia U19 selection trials:
Recently, 15 U/19 scullers came together from all over the country to compete for a spot in the World Championships in Paris later this year. Jesse Rosin (Year 12) achieved second place in both his single scull heat and final, while Darcy James (Year 12) earned second place in the single scull B Final. After Rowing Australia reduced the field to five, Jesse advanced to the final four but didn't proceed to the final three after further racing. Nevertheless, his performance was outstanding. Austin Bennie (Year 11) was part of the ACT Pathways Eight, which placed fifth in the A final – another wonderful effort. All three athletes are terrific role models for the College and the Rowing Club.
