Mura Gadi
Mura Gadi (pathways for searching) – Term 4 evening with Sally FitzGerald
You are invited to the next Mura Gadi event at Marist College Canberra on Thursday 16 November 2023 from 6.45pm - 8.30pm. Mura Gadi means pathways for searching and these events are designed to be opportunities for students and adults to listen to input on a specific topic, engage in table conversations and participate in a Q & A with the speaker. The goal is to inform, form, provoke and stimulate.
Our guest this term is Sally FitzGerald, who is a Muruwari woman and ACT Councillor for NATSICC (National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholic Council). She will be speaking on the role of NATSICC and her experiences with this organisation and as the Coordinator of the Aboriginal Catholic Ministry for the Archdiocese of Canberra, Goulburn. On the night we will be assisting Sally in assembling Palliative Care Packages for indigenous people.
