Marist Sailing Team Competes at the 2025 ACT School Teams Sailing Championships

The Marist Sailing Team recently competed at the 2025 ACT School Teams Sailing Championships, held at Lake Burley Griffin on 22-23 February. It was a fantastic event, with our sailors demonstrating skill, teamwork, and resilience in challenging conditions that saw them taking third place in their division

Standout moments included a spectacular win against Knox Grammar School in their first race as well as taking a first-place finish in a close race against the ANU team in the open division.

Congratulations to all team members (Sean Ahern, Finley Cockburn, Charlie Dopita, Lucas Dopita, Alex Holl, Thomas Lawrence and Theo Morrisey) for their dedication and sportsmanship. A special thanks to our coaches, supporters, and families for their ongoing encouragement.
