The College recently celebrated the commissioning of the newly designed Marist Defence Student Badge with a small ceremony, led by Headmaster Matthew Hutchison.

The badge, embodying simplicity, symbolism, and belonging, features a single red poppy symbolizing remembrance and sacrifice against a light blue background, representing our Marist College community. The words "Marist College Defence" are inscribed in silver, uniting our 138 Defence students under a shared emblem.

The Marist Defence Student Badge serves as a symbol of resilience and shared identity. As the badges were presented, the students were encouraged to look around the room and acknowledge the other students in the Defence community. This badge acts as a bridge, inviting Defence students to connect, reach out, and establish bonds with one another.
