Important reminder for Year 6 and Year 10 families
A reminder that families with sons currently in Years 6 and 10 at the College do not need to re-enrol their son into Year 7 or Year 11.
Our expectation is that once a student is enrolled at the College, their enrolment will continue until the completion of their studies in Year 12.
Sport
Sporting congratulations
Swimming
Congratulations to Indiana P, Matthew G, and Jovern L on qualifying for the 2025 Australian Age Swimming Championships, which were held in Brisbane from 10 - 18 April - a remarkable achievement that places them among the nation’s top young swimmers. This prestigious national meet brought together the best from across Australia, and qualifying alone is a significant accomplishment.
Jovern L showcased an impressive performance across seven events, placing 5th in the 14 Years 50m Breaststroke final, 15th in the 100m Breaststroke, and 18th in the 100m Butterfly, while achieving significant personal bests throughout the meet.
Matthew G also delivered a stellar effort in his three events, highlighted by a 7th-place finish in the 16 Years 50m Breaststroke and an 8th-place finish in the 100m Breaststroke, along with strong personal bests across all his swims.
A special congratulations to Indiana P for qualifying — a fantastic accomplishment and a reflection of his consistent hard work and commitment to the sport.
We’re incredibly proud of all three students for their achievements and the way they represented the school and their respective clubs on a national stage.
Football
Congratulations to Michael Pratezina, who was invited to play with the U18’s Australian Schoolboys Squad in an international friendly in Sydney last month. Michael scored a goal in the 2-2 draw against New Zealand.
Athletics
Congratulations to Kieran Shepherd, who last month won 2 gold medals at the Australian Athletics Championships in Perth in the U17s 1500m and u17s 3000m. Kieran managed to hold off some strong challengers in the final lap of the 3000m to bag the double.
